Engineering Support / Junior Manufacturing Engineer

Duluth, GA (on-site, Gwinnett / metro Atlanta) · Full-time

About the role

ACI Atlanta builds printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies in Duluth, GA. You will support the engineering team day to day: turning customer data into buildable parts, keeping documentation straight, designing the fixtures and tooling production asks for, and standing next to the line when a process misbehaves.

What you will do

  • Work in CAD/CAM (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar) on fixtures, tooling, and small mechanical parts
  • Read PCB fabrication drawings, Gerbers/ODB++, and mechanical drawings; apply basic GD&T
  • Give DFM feedback to customers and to our CAM team before a job is released
  • Write and route ECOs, maintain travelers, work instructions and revision control
  • Partner with production on yield, scrap and process issues; run simple root-cause investigations
  • Support first-article inspection and process capability studies

What we are looking for

  • Engineering degree (ME, EE, IE, MfgE) or a technician with 3-10 years on an electronics manufacturing floor
  • Comfortable with a CAD package and reading drawings; hands-on and curious
  • Clear written English; local to Gwinnett / metro Atlanta
  • Bonus: IPC-A-610 / IPC-6012 familiarity, SMT/reflow experience, SPC basics, AS9100 or ITAR environment experience

How we interview

Your first interview is with an AI interviewer (voice or chat, about 30 minutes). A human engineer reviews every transcript and makes every decision.

How we interview

Right after you apply, you choose how to take a 25-40 minute first-round interview: a voice call in your browser, a phone call, WhatsApp, or text chat. The interviewer is an AI. It evaluates only your words, never your voice, face, emotions or personality. A human on the team reviews every transcript and makes every decision; nobody is declined automatically.
